Dad's Cafe is owned by Theresa Collins and was established in September 2007.

Theresa has worked for the last twenty years in hospitality. She has gained vast experience within the trade while working in five star hotels in London and the Middle East in food and beverage management teams. While overseeing the everyday business of the food and beverage outlets, planning for the future, financial controls and staffing, she was also responsible for events within the hotel and any outside catering.

Theresa spent two years, prior to opening Dad's, as a hotel inspector for Leading Hotels of the World, which took her to many interesting places in the world to inspect some of the finest five star hotels and spas. Staying as a mystery guest, checking the 1500 standards that the hotels are required to meet, attention to detail was paramount.

While Theresa has always wanted to own her own business. It wasn't until her father unfortunately passed away that she was able to make this dream a reality. Hence the name Dad's. So something good can really come out of something bad. His memory lives on....
